What is Network Marketing??

If you are looking for a way to earn extra money part time with the idea of turning that part time job into a full time income eventually, then you may want to look into Network Marketing.  Network Marketing (often called Direct Sales or Relationship Marketing) is growing in popularity as more and more people see that it is a legitimate way to earn a very substantial living with very little initial investment.

So, what is Network Marketing?  According to Wikipedia, network marketing is way of doing business in which a sales force earns a commission not only for sales of products and services they personally generate, but also for the sales of others they recruit and bring into the business, which creates a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple leveraged levels of compensation.

When you join a network marketing company you are “signing up” to represent that company’s product  and business opportunity.  

You “sign up” by making a small investment (usually $500 to $1,500) and by completing an Independent Distributor agreement.   In the case of Nerium, you can become a Brand Partner

for as little as $499.  (Click Here to Join Now) You are not being hired by the company as an employee but, rather, you are volunteering to represent the company as an independent contractor, or consultant or in the case of Nerium, "Brand Partner". You are given a commission based upon the volume of product sold through your own sales efforts as well as that of your downline organization.  You will also be awarded various bonuses and awards based on sales and volume (in the case of Nerium they offer Cash Bonuses (from $25,000-$1,000.000 and also items such as iPads, Lexus Cars and Free Product).  

But, I do caution you, be sure to choose a company in which you have faith in the product in which you are selling.  It is much easier to sell a product if you aren't "selling" it...I like to take the approach of "sharing" a good opportunity.  If you genuinely have faith in your product and your company then you will succeed.  

So, you have 2 ways of making money...you can make money by selling your product to your personal customers AND you can make money off of the sales generated by the team of consultants that you personally recruit.  A good combination of the two is how you will begin to earn a substantial and steady income.  It is not uncommon to see people earning six figure incomes from Network Marketing...yes, we have LOTS of people right here in Nerium that are earning Six Figure salaries.  That is not something that is new though, there are six figure (and higher) earners in every single Direct Sales organization out there.  If you work hard enough, and work smart enough, you will get there too.  And, signing up with a Sponsor who is well informed and willing to coach you and help you along the way will help guarantee your road to success.

I recently read another blog that explained Network Marketing and leveraged earning really well.  I am going to quote them here... 

Here’s another way to look at it…
Let’s say you earn a $100 commission for selling a particular product and it takes you two hours of “work” to make a sale. Break that down and your time is worth $50 per hour. Put in a full 40 hour work week and you pocket a nice $2,000.
Let’s also say you have spent some time “recruiting” a few people to join your team who also want the chance to earn $100 per sale and you earn a nice $10 check for every sale THEY make.
Over time you have built a team of 100 people. They each make 20 sales per week – independent of your time and effort.

• YOU = 40 hours, 20 sales, $2,000

• TEAM = 4000 hours, 2,000 sales @ $10 each = you get $20,000

Now, that being said, not everyone has aspirations of earning a six figure salary..some people are signing up just to earn some extra spending money or to save up for the kids' college fund, and that's ok too.  There is plenty of room for those type of earners also!
